Hold on to to the truth of the salvation provided by god through Jesus.

There is no plan A, B, or C. There is one way to get to the father and that is through Jesus.

In our day, people thing that truth is defined by the individual. But truth is true with our without our approval.

God’s church is the pillar and foundation of the truth. If we compromise on truth, we compromise the structural integrity of gods church.

Today we see churches wanting to alter their definition of salvation. They speak of tolerance and love in their own ways, ignoring gods definition.

Don’t let someone who puts you down to affect you. But live out our life in a way to glorifies god. Set an example for those who need an example.

Back in the day of that Paul wrote this letter, people didn’t have access to gods word. So Paul is saying that Tim should continue to live in the word, read, and share.

God has equipped you with gifts, don’t waste them!

Devote yourself to the things of god. Dive in. Live it every moment, of every day. Not just when it is comfortable. Practice and continue to grow, because those who are watching you will be encouraged by your progress.

Watch yourself. Make sure you are doing thing right in gods eyes. Because you will effect those with you in your way. If you are not walking righteously in gods word, you could make others stumble in their walk.

Before we can impact the world with gods truth, we need to remember that we need to live out that truth ourselves.

For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time. (ESV)

15 if I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, a pillar and buttress of the truth. (ESV)

12 Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. (ESV)

13 Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching. (ESV)

14 Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you by prophecy when the council of elders laid their hands on you. (ESV)

15 Practice these things, immerse yourself in them, so that all may see your progress. (ESV)

16 Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers. (ESV)
